Woman-Owned Cosmetic Manufacturer in Florida
Vaulabs is owned and run by Natalie Vaulin. That is a fact about who holds the company, not a certification, and we say it that way on purpose: we are woman-owned, not "woman-owned certified," and we do not carry a WBENC logo because we have not gone through that registration.
What the distinction means for you
If your brand, retailer, or buyer needs a certified woman-owned or minority-owned supplier for a supplier-diversity program, we do not currently meet that bar — the certification has to come from a body like WBENC or through a state or federal registry, and we have not completed it. If what you need is simply to know who is behind the company you are working with, that answer is straightforward: a woman founded Vaulabs, and a woman runs it.
Our facility, regardless of ownership structure
Vaulabs formulates and manufactures clean beauty products in Clearwater, Florida. The facility at 2021 Sunnydale Blvd is FDA-registered and NSF-certified under NSF/ANSI 455-2, certificate C0681369-HSCDS-5, valid through May 27, 2027. Cosmetic production runs in the same facility, under the same quality unit, with the same batch records and release documentation. Certification under NSF/ANSI 455-3, the cosmetic standard in the same series, is planned at our next audit.
Custom formulation starts at $1,000, benchmark matching at $1,500. Production runs from 5,000 units per SKU (10,000 for OTC), with capacity over 400,000 units per month across four automated filling lines. A first product takes 10 to 12 weeks from approved sample and deposit; reorders take 6 to 8.
Common questions
Is Vaulabs a certified woman-owned business? No. It is woman-owned by fact of ownership — founded and run by Natalie Vaulin — but not certified through WBENC, Florida's Office of Supplier Diversity, or the SBA's WOSB program.
Do you plan to get certified? It is on our list to evaluate; no certification is in progress as of this writing.
Does this affect the manufacturing itself? No. Ownership status has no bearing on the facility's FDA registration, NSF certification, or production capacity.
